We’ve made SO MUCH progress on the fundraising efforts for the billboard campaign in Atlanta.
At the time of this post, we’ve raised $4,428 of our target of $5,000–for both the billboards and advertising the event. A sincere THANK YOU to every single one of you who have donated.
It appears that we are going to reach our target, but we need your help to make that final push to get us there! We’re so close!
What’s Next?
At this time we are engaging the outdoor advertising companies to work out the timing of the billboards (we need to determine a month when our selected locations will be available for use).
We are also finalizing the designs/ad copy. The final designs will be a surprise (we don’t want Coca-Cola to see them before they’re up)–but if you have any ideas, please let us know soon (contact us.)
It’s going to take us a bit of time to get the billboard event organized. In addition to putting the billboards up, we need time to reach out to news organizations–because we want this to be covered nationally to maximize the impact. Please be patient as we work through all of the logistics of this big event. We’ll keep you updated as we make progress. For now, help us get through that final fundraising push. Thanks everyone for all of your support!

Two suggestions: “Bring back our TaB”.
On postings… consider Bottler as key constitent. Bottler can make this happen, KO likely to ignore.

Thank you for the suggestion! We’re also contacting the bottlers to see if any of them can help convince Coke to change its mind. Good Idea!

The billboard should be aggressive (maybe even attacking) in messaging so it’s not easily dismissed—the goal is to make waves so that people take notice. A squeaky wheel is the one that usually gets the oil.

We definitely want to ensure the billboard causes them to take notice! Thanks for your suggestions! Let’s #SaveTaBSoda

Hi Adam. My niece is now working for out front advertising main office located in Houston I believe. She’s low man on the totem pole and can’t pull any strings or anything like that but I do know she works with billboard customers in deciding where to put a billboard for greatest impact as well as what design to put on it. She’s a creative type and may have information we could use. If you think talking you her about our campaign would be helpful I can see if she can do a 3 way zoom call with you and I. Let me know.
