Bring back
the icon that
never fadesTaB.

The original zero-sugar cola. The Pink Pioneer. Discontinued in 2020 after 57 years — but never forgotten. We’re the SaveTaBSoda Committee, and we’re working to convince Coca-Cola to produce it again.

Why we’re here

On October 16, 2020, Coca-Cola quietly killed an icon.

After 57 years on shelves, TaB — Coca-Cola’s first-ever diet cola — was discontinued. To some it was a news blip. To us it was personal.

So we got organized. The SaveTaBSoda Committee is a coast-to-coast group of devoted TaB drinkers speaking with one voice: this beloved, one-of-a-kind cola deserves to come back. We make calls, write letters, raise billboards, and refuse to let a legend fade into the history books.

There is no substitute. There never was. That’s exactly why we keep going.

The Pink Pioneer

Coca-Cola’s coolest
cult classic.

Through the 1970s and 80s, that unmistakable pink can was everywhere — a statement drink with a flavor no one has ever managed to replicate.

TaB was never trying to be Diet Coke. It was the original, the defiant alternative, the diet cola with real attitude. Even Coca-Cola calls it the “Pink Pioneer.” We call it the best soda ever made.

Voices of the faithful

Real fans. Real devotion.

A few notes from the thousands who refuse to let TaB go.

Nothing tastes like TaB. I stocked up like a crazy prepper, paid a fortune on eBay, and I miss it every single day.
— A faithful customer
It’s a central part of my life. When the news came out, people I hadn’t spoken to in ten years called to give me their condolences.
— Committee member
I’ve been drinking TaB since the ’60s. They don’t even have to advertise it. We love it. Just bring it back.
— Lifelong drinker
