We want to see a massive outpouring of love and support for TaB–encouraging Coca-Cola to #SaveTaB from the history books. TaB’s color is pink, Valentine’s Day may be its unofficial holiday!
So far, we’ve seen 1350+ downloads of the sample Valentine’s day cards. That’s a great start! (And it doesn’t count all of those who are sending store-bought cards, handmade cards, and heart-shaped TaB box cutouts, either!)
Keep up the great work sharing the event and working on your cards. We’ve got nine more days to spread the word and get others to help us!
#SaveTaB!
When it comes to trying to convince a large global company like Coca-Cola to change its mind on a product–we know we have to work together. There is strength in numbers.
For our upcoming Valentines for TaB event, we want to be able to predict just how many people are going to send cards and letters. While that’s a difficult thing to get an official count on, one thing we can measure is how many sample card templates have been downloaded. As of the time of this post, we’ve seen over 750 card templates downloaded!
Now if even 50% of those downloaded templates are printed and mailed, that means we’re talking about our group sending 375 Valentines out to Coca-Cola (which we think is a very low number because):
So what does 375 letters look like? Well the stack below is roughly 75-100. So basically four of these stacks.

Now, just imagine if we doubled or tripled our numbers? Can you imagine what a stack of 1,000 or more #SaveTaB Valentines landing on Mr. Quincey’s desk would look like?
Let’s help encourage everyone who is participating to send even one more than they planned to send to increase our numbers. And please share with anyone who can help.
We’ll share countdown reminders in the coming week. And if you’re participating by sending letters out, be sure to post and share photos on social media to help engage others to join our cause!

And if you want to buy or make your own Valentines cards (like those below)–that’d be great too 🙂 These were simple dollar store cards with some images printed from the web glued inside.

The #SaveTaB committee is focusing on creating at least one single big event each month that we can all easily participate in–and we want to start communicating about it early (and often) so everyone can start to remind one another in the various social media groups we participate in. We hope this will help to drive engagement and build energy around the events to maximize participation.
With that being said, our February event is going to be a mass mailing event. It’s called “Valentines for TaB Day.” We are going to be physically sending Valentine’s Day cards to Mr. James Quincey, CEO of Coca-Cola, expressing our love for TaB (and asking him to bring it back).
We’re talking about the bright pink (TaB pink?!?) type with hearts, glitter, and all of the fun cheesy messages, of course.
We want to make this incredibly easy for all of you, so we are working on creating a library of Valentine’s day templates you can simply print off, write a message, and send. That will be coming soon! But in the meantime, if you want to participate and are interested in making your own handmade cards, now’s the time to start working on that (or running to the store to buy some if that’s more your speed).
Stay tuned for more blog posts in the coming weeks that will point you to the templates and remind you to send them at least a week before 2/14 so they arrive on time! We’ll start an official countdown on February 1st.
Send them to:

We hope you’ll participate, and share this idea around. The more of us who send them, the better!
