Valentine’s Message from All of Us

Thank you to everyone who participated in the “Valentines for TaB” event! All along, the idea behind this activity was to rally TaB lovers to tell Coca-Cola just how much they love the product and wish to see it continue to be produced.

And we think it was a success! Judging by the downloads of our sample templates (more than 1,600!!) and the countless comments and likes on Facebook discussing the homemade valentines cards, cut-out hearts, etc.–we’re expecting Mr. Quincey to receive quite a lot of mail!

But we didn’t want to stop there. We wanted to make sure he understands our letters and cards represent only a small sample of the true TaB fans out there. And most important, we want to make sure he READS our messages. So we delivered an important letter along with a TaB-themed Valentine’s Day gift basket to the corporate headquarters in Atlanta on behalf of our #SaveTaB committee, addressed to Mr. Quincey.

The basket is pink-themed and TaBulous; put together by a professional company in Atlanta, with help from one of our volunteer committee members. And it contains some nice items for the CEO, including TaB soda. Along with this basket we included a letter asking Coca-Cola to reconsider their decision and to find a way to keep TaB around. We’ll keep you posted if we get a response from him. Will you do the same for us? If you hear anything back from Coca-Cola, please share in the comments or contact us!

And finally, we hope Mr. Quincey forever associates TaB, the pink pioneer, with Valentine’s day–and gains an appreciation for our outpouring of support for our beloved soda. Let’s hope we get a positive response from our Valentine’s day mailing efforts. But we’re not going to wait around for it; we’re starting to plan our next event for March. Stay tuned!

The SaveTaBSoda Committee was formed in 2021 to help convince Coca-Cola to bring back TaB Soda! TaB was discontinued in 2020, and we weren't finished with it yet. Join us in our efforts to save TaB from the history books.
