Update on Bottler Outreach

As we previously shared, the SaveTaBSoda Committee in the process of contacting key Coca-Cola bottlers to try to see if we can work with one (or more) of them to convince The Coca-Cola Company to bring back TaB.

Here’s a quick update on what we’ve done so far.

Introductory Letter

We sent an introductory letter along with collateral from the Committee to demonstrate the number of TaB drinkers who are out there–who still want TaB. The introduction to the committee referenced the news stories that have been published in the past two years, the change.org petition, and stories of individual TaB drinkers who are passionate about their favorite soft drink.

Now that we’ve gotten formal introductions out of the way, we’re following up with data that we believe demonstrates there is market demand for TaB.

Market Demand Letter

If you recall, last month, we did a series of very short surveys to collect data from TaB drinkers to share with the bottlers. Thank you everyone who took time to fill them out! We’ve now compiled the data from the first survey (it was about “Household TaB Demand”).

We’ve taken that data and written a letter to the bottlers to share what we have learned. Once the bottlers have had a chance to see the information from the survey in our letter–we will share it with all of you in a future blog post (we want Coca-Cola bottlers to see it before we publish it).

Our next step will be to analyze the data in surveys 2-4. Then we will be writing additional letters where we summarize key findings from those surveys to the bottlers.

We will share additional information about the next round of letters in the coming weeks.
