You may be wondering why we didn’t make this announcement a long time ago! And the reason is because we wanted to get it right. And we still might not have it right, but at least we put some thought into it, and we have a start!
First, we realized that there are already a handful of Facebook and Twitter Accounts surrounding the TaB fan community. We really didn’t want to add to the mix by creating new accounts for SaveTaBSoda, unless we felt they would add value.
What we have observed over the past couple of months is that none of these existing Facebook Groups are 100% dedicated to saving TaB. That’s become a portion of their purpose, but they are also focused on other things like where to buy it, prices on Amazon/eBay, and sharing TaB merchandise/fun pictures. All of that is great, and it’s helpful information for the group members.
Where we think we can add value is by creating a place for people to go strictly for updates related to saving TaB.
So we decided to stand up a Facebook Page and Twitter account!
If you’re with us on this journey, we’d appreciate if you liked and followed the accounts, and shared them with like-minded individuals. We may add additional social channels in the future, but this is our first step.
We believe there is still a place for the myriad fan groups on Facebook/Twitter to coexist with our social sites–because not all of the TaB fans are interested in our effort. But for those who are, we now have a place to provide some updates.
TL,DR: We now have Facebook and Twitter–please like and follow us, even if you are already part of other TaB Facebook groups. We’re 100% dedicated to #SaveTaB.
